Months 1–2: Discovery, concept and spatial planning

This is where the real foundation gets laid; site visits, understanding how you live, resolving the floor plan in collaboration with your builder. Rushing this stage is the single most common cause of expensive changes later.

Months 2–4: Design development and documentation

Every material, finish, and joinery detail specified, with full 2D and 3D documentation prepared for your builder and trades. This is the layer most people underestimate and the one that keeps a build running smoothly once it starts.

Ongoing through the build: procurement

Furniture, fittings and finishes are sourced and ordered well ahead of when they're needed on site, since lead times on quality pieces are often measured in months, not weeks.

Final weeks: styling and installation

The moment a finished build becomes a finished home; usually condensed into a focused, final stretch once construction wraps.
